Anoka-Ramsey Community College

Anoka-Ramsey knew they wanted a brand film to advertise their dual-campus community college, so they came to us with a blank slate – not just to execute the story, but to build it. Our idea was to give prospective students a glimpse into the lifestyle at Anoka-Ramsey through the vast array of opportunities it offers.

Visually, we wanted to create a style that lived right in the sweet spot between raw and carefully crafted, on the corner of realistic and cinematic. That meant real students, real activities, minimal staging, and just capturing the right organic moments. As we went into post, we made sure to maintain that real/crafted balance. The edit’s pace is energetic but smooth, the color is inviting, the voiceover was recorded by a talented Anoka-Ramsey theatre student (who also stars in the sword fight scene), and the music was composed in-house at FBC.
